All The Info

I started working with Archie 3 years ago, he was 5 years old and I was overly confident. It was meant to be a part time job for one year and now I can't imagine my life without him. This blog is a way for me to process all the things that happen while we work together, the good, the confusing and the upsetting, I realised I needed a place to set down what I was learning so that I could reflect on it and try to change what went wrong or improve what worked. You see, Archie has Pathological Demand Avoidance Autism with Sensory Processing Disorder as well, his life is tricky and I am hired to help him navigate the school system as calmly and happily as possible. I often don't succeed and then we are both unhappy, but slowly and steadily we are making progress.
